From the beginning, the Sinank’ay Geriatric Center chose to follow a humanistic model for care giving proposed by authors Tom Kitwood in England, Jeane Watson, David Troxel in the U.S. and Rosa Carvajal in Mexico, being this last, the author of the book entitled ‘Care for Patients Suffering From Severe Memory Loss’, as well as the medical director for our center.
